Google Business Profile Post Generator
Pick a post type, fill in a few boxes, and get three post drafts you can copy. A live character counter and a short checklist help you catch the usual problems before you post. Everything happens in your browser.
Make your post
This only changes the closing line of your draft. You still choose the button and add its link inside Google's post editor.
Your three drafts
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to fill in. Edit the text after you paste it into Google. The counter uses Google's 1,500-character limit for post text.
Before you post
- Post text can be up to 1,500 characters, but the first line or two is what people see first. Put the important thing there.
- Don't type a phone number, email address or social handle in the post text. Google can remove posts with unverified contact details. Use the Call now button instead.
- Offer posts need a title and dates. Event posts need a title and start and end dates.
- Posts older than 6 months are archived unless the post has a date range.
- Google reviews each post after you publish it, and it can be marked Not approved.
These points come from Google's help pages, which can change. Check Create and manage posts on your Business Profile and the posts content policy for the current wording.
12 post ideas when you are stuck
- A new service or product. Say what it is, who it is for and how to book or buy.
- A seasonal reminder. For example, a tune-up, a deadline or a holiday schedule.
- A limited-time offer. Use an Offer post, so the dates are built in.
- An upcoming event or class. Use an Event post with a start and end date.
- A new hours or holiday hours notice. Short and clear. Also update your hours on the profile itself.
- Answer a question customers ask a lot. Two or three sentences with a clear next step.
- A job you finished or an item you made. Describe the problem and the result. Add a photo you own.
- Meet the team. Introduce one person and what they do. Ask them first.
- A quick how-to or tip. Three short steps that save your customers a call.
- A thank-you to your community. A local sponsorship, a donation drive or a neighborhood event.
- What to expect on a first visit. Parking, how long it takes and what to bring.
- A behind-the-scenes look. Show how something is made or prepared.

Is this really free? Do you use AI?
It is free, with no sign-up. There is no AI behind it and no API calls. Your drafts come from fill-in templates that run in your browser.
Is what I type stored or sent anywhere?
No. It stays on your device and is not saved. The only thing ever sent is the optional "Something broken?" form if you fill it in.
How long can a Google Business Profile post be?
Google's help says post text can be up to 1,500 characters. The counter above uses that limit. The text people see first is much shorter, so lead with your main point.
Why do my drafts have [brackets]?
They mark details you have not filled in yet. The checklist under each draft tells you how many are left. Replace them before you post.
Will posting more often help me rank higher?
Nobody outside Google can promise that, and I do not claim it. Posts give customers fresh, useful information on your profile. Results vary.
Are you affiliated with Google?
No. This is an independent tool. Google and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC.
